Denzel Boston is...
quickly becoming my favorite receiver in recent memory. I think his deep threat, jump ball abilities are in the same ballpark as Rome. He's also great after the catch and makes tons of plays catching the ball in the middle of the field. Tough, tough kid.

Good instincts of when to make moves and when to get up field. Never seems to make a dumb cutback at the first down line

Some folks on here were down on him in August, and I never understood that
-
He kinda sucked the second half of last year but I don't think anyone knew he was playing with two hernias.
Boston is great but he's not the same as Rome.
Players with city names are apparently good at UW.

he’s just a jr right ?

He’s becoming TUFF before our eyes
-
We’re becoming wide receiver U !!

I was never down on Boston, I just wanted to see him take that next step and it looks like he is. Rome made himself a legend against Oregon in Husky Stadium. Can Denzel?
Indiana's Elijah Sarratt was massive in Autzen. Would love to see Boston do the same thing.

Yes, but WR's get drafted high and paid in the NFL. They're what RB's used to be.

I wasn't down on Boston, but I definitely wasn't sold on him …. YET. I just need to see him become the emotional leader of the team and have some fight in him. He definitely showed that in the Maryland game and also in the Illinois game. Seeing him pissed on the sideline trying to get back into a game that they were clearly winning, I think speaks a lot to the rest of the team about the kind of fight that we should have.

just get him off punt returns. He’s good at it, when he doesn’t muff it, but he’s gonna get killed and he’s more valuable as a healthy WR

He’s a tough runner with the ball in his hands too. He’s surprised me there. He seems to have it all for a good NFL career, but that’s always a toss up.
He’s not Rome, but he’s not that far behind.

Odunze all day.

poor man's Odunze

He's better than I expected. His toughness with the ball in his hands is pretty Odunze like. I don't know why, but that was a surprise to me.
I'm not ready to say he's as good as that, but he plays similarly and onviously has the NFL in his future.

I was ready to choke him through my tv last Saturday while trying to catch a wet ball with his hands away from his body and not cradle the punt inside the 20 no less. Had we lost that ball, I believed we were cooked. As a guy in the program many years, I couldn’t understand his bad judgment on the punt with the field position and conditions, we got very lucky.
I was one of those down on Boston early and during the season because I believed he was underperforming with his experience and didn’t see much fire from him or leadership/passion as an OG. Outside the muffed punt decision he looked very different last Saturday. Why did he wait for game 8 to become animated and vocal?
Any comparisons to Rome are outrageous. -
Boston never fumbles

Boston won't be Odunze unless he stays and plays for a natty next year
