If x person is elected
to insert city mayor/council, county bored of supervisors, state house, congress etc. he/she/it might raise taxes two percent on the wealthiest two percent, and the world will end because they'll ALL move to Floriduh or AZ

Capital is fluid. Rich people can go wherever they want. Middle-class folks cannot.

I left Portland for Montana due to my taxes being raised and then wasted every year.
Oh well, I’m sure the homeless living in my entryway in Slabtown have picked up up the property tax slack.

The proof is in the census results and how they will affect states gain or loss of seats in the house. 2030 doesn't look good for the dems if these are correct.
