Thanks Taft!

For the record, Miami won 42 - 7.

He now has better players than a lot of teams, and certainly more than does Stanford.
The fact that they were tied or up 7 or whatever at halftime is the tell. Stanford didn't really belong on the field with them and I couldn't see a single player on Furd who would start at Miami. Not one.
What does that tell you?
When they play teams that can punch back, eventually they'll drop.
They have a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way but I see them dropping @Pitt and frankly a loss next week @SMU wouldn't shock me.
Still, they are the kind of team that could get hot and make some noise in the playoff IF they get to the playoff.
Beck, and I say this with no passion and with no attempt at being funny or edgy, was seriously not worth any money, much less that money. He is a mediocre, AT BEST, QB. He's the NIL highway robber of the year.
Oregon has two back ups who would EASILY be upgrades over Beck, and I'm dead serious. If Mario could get that Thomas kid (who might be better than Moore, who seems to get softer by the week) they would be dangerous because they have a solid O line, a great stable of backs and the best collection of WRs they've had in a while. Beck holds them back.
