if I’m some of these programs I would consider taking a big swing with someone more outside the box or a young coordinator than someone like Fisch or any guy who is just doing ok at a program or even a guy doing pretty well. Take the money you save on hiring a younger more unproven guy into NIL for a few years and work in a quick extension if he pans out. I’m not sure who these guys are now but think like a Chip Kelly in the late-2000s I guess.
Kiffin is one of the few check the box type guys I would consider right now and I’m not even that impressed with him.

agreed. If by some miracle Fisch ia hired away I hope we get a young proven coordinator or a baller coach at a lower division: like a Dillingham or a Cignetti.

Ben Arbuckle seems like that hot young coordinator type. He’s actually done some pretty good qb development on complete unknowns.

Dillingham is still an Oregon plant. He has a handshake agreement with Nike to eventually get the UW job and go Owen. It will be the end of his career but they’ll ensure he is well compensated. OBK told me this in a dream.

Not so sure Demond would leave with their starting 5 star rsfr qb. Demond is similar to being the Arizona Cardinals with Murray. Has a ton of talent, is a midget @creepycoug that holds the ball too long with one or two reads at best. He’s a jag between the ears with his decision making. Fisch is big part of the problem because Demond needs a real OC and not some retread former wr/qb coach masquerading as an OC.

I happen to think he's everything you look for in a QB.
Whatever point you're trying to coyly make is absurd and has no basis. Demond is really good and you trying to poke holes in it doesn't make you smart regardless of how many paragraphs you write about it

He's taking a couple sacks per game that are 100% on him. He'd rather hit the dirt than take a hit to his completion %. I know that's not really the case, but he'll never been more than good against bad teams if he doesn't learn to throw the fucking ball away. It's beyond a serious issue at this point.

I spent more time than I wish to acknowledge on trying to get Grok to create an image of Dillingham in UW gear with the movie title overhead. But every attempt looked nothing like Dillingham whatsoever.
