Our last coach didn't lose a game in his second year until his 15th game.
Jedd has already lost a game in his 2nd year. FIRE JEDD

just me but if I’m Jerd I’m building up for 2026 and 27 at UW to see if I can make a run at an NFL job instead of taking on another college rebuilding project. I’d also try to stay in the Big 10. It’s pretty clear if you’re a good healthy program you have to just win 1-2 big games and avoid losing to some team with no QB to make the CFP. SEC lacks the juggernaut teams they used to but feels much stronger top to bottom right now.

I think he would definetly leave for the NFL. Not sure anyone in the NFL would be impressed by going 11-1 in college and having a long and mediocre at best NFL resume. If he wants to be an NFL head coach his best route is to get a coordinator job there like Jeff Hafley did, Hafley is probably getting a head coach job this cycle.

The board really IS better after a loss

People seem to forget that the AD that lost the last winning head coach is now at Nebraska losing their (sort of) winning head coach.
People forget that.

I’m definitely not sold on Fisch and would have considered cutting off my pinky finger for Coach Cigarette but comparing each of their second season is fucking stupid. Boner vs Fisch year 2 comparison is some of the weakest shit I’ve read here. Petersen’d foundation was so strong it wasn’t torpedoed by Lake’s two years. Best QB in history and arguably the most productive Qb room in Husky history vs the shit show Jeb walked into.

Need to get college contracts figured out so programs don't need to keep coaches for fear of losing the QB. Sign in blood. Also don't understand why HCs need huge buy outs and would much rather give a guy a few more bucks to not have a huge buyout of he sucks. All this nonsense wouldnt exist if a coach had to be good to get payed and the players did what they're payed to do.
