I do not like this messaging from Fisch

In preparation for a Friday game, Fisch said players had Sunday off instead of Monday. They planned to meet as a team Monday afternoon, Fisch said, to review the Maryland game for the first (and final) time since Saturday, “and then move on” to Rutgers, which had the week off.

“They’re a little bit ahead of us right now,” Fisch said, “so now it’s our time to really focus in, try to catch up and be ready to go for Friday evening at 6 o’clock.”

He also said the coaches didn't take a break and that they've been working on tape to catch up. Seemed like pretty standard stuff to me

The locker room video confirms my suspicions that he can put on a face for the media that's different than with the team

you’re reaching a little Derek. It was all early week pre game coach speak and it seemed pretty standard. Bye or not UW has a huge advantage with them traveling west. If they lose this game it’s because the whole program fucked the pooch on multiple levels. I think even Judd is introspective enough to know that.
