Do you think this just happens by accident?

I was on the only team where we're on a college sports Mt Rushmore. I know about winning and stuff.

You make having a chud wage garnishment thing sound easy.
This is built on like 90 years of college football success and Ohio being a dump.
-
If you want to talk history no one matches a 63 game unbeaten streak
History is meaningless. Miami and Oregon had none
Who is talking about going back in time to match the last 25 years of Ohio
I'm saying if they can do it so can Washington and no one can tell me why they can't
Because they can. First you have to want to and that's the rub

Fair point, and what they lean on.
DeBoer stays at UW and then buys Mendoza and shit…there's a path where we?re rich and cool and full of bums but still rich and cool and taking a top 2-4 place in the B1G.
It's obvious with the schedule that the conference was afraid of that outcome, by the way.

Oregon is a lot closer to Ohio State than Washington which is another thing that should make you go hmmm
-
Washington State is trying hard to catch up to Ohio in that regard.
-
And this is what other B10 teams see when they have UW on the schedule
UW doesn't need to build themselves up from the AAC into Ohio State. They're building off of being Washington
-
Miami didn't have the "money" or "tradition" piece but they had location, location, location. Add in good coaches and they could be the on 1983- 2002 Mt Rushmore.
Oregon has the founder of the biggest sports brand in the world.
Those are 2 pretty unique scenarios that are hard to replicate.
UW can and should compete for National Titles. History shows we can. But color TV era history doesn't suggest UW can be a Mt Rushmore type program.

They're closer because they kept their coach and kept it all rolling.
They kept their coach because he kept losing to our coach.
Alabama, even as early as 2022, started getting envious of Washington's process and how uncool we are and yet how unflinching we are about shoving our cocks down everyone's throat, including Texas, when we are confident. So they started flying Grubb out there and getting their claws into our program. Fuck UW for letting that happen.

I'm old enough to remember Oregon being down to Ohio State 34-8 at half time to Ohio State.
They seem to not be too close to Ohio State when all the chips are on the table- e.g., 2014 Natty Game or 2024 Quarterfinals.
