I laid my inner Doog to rest Sunday am, a 34-17 type game will make me feel better

-6.5 seems way high, but all the models like Washington at a neutral site, although not by much.

I’m excited for me and other doogs to talk about Maryland’s freshman QB being a great player after we lose.

I would love to see Maryland win, but it’s not happening. Maryland simply isn’t very good. Huskies 30 Maryland 17
Current implied score UW 30 UM 23Huskies win and cover
Didn’t bet it however. I don’t like picking favorites that travel 3 time zones. So I passed.

Caught up on some Maryland Wisconsin highlights and holy shit Wisconsin is dead. I'm shocked Alabama didn't plunger them way more. Wisconsin managed to get a field goal blocked, a punt blocked, and throw what was basically a pick six all in the first quarter. They were also trying to not show the crowd but the place looked like a lot of missing seats in a market where everything should just be the football team. Wisconsin's QB for the second straight year also has a QB whose movements and vibe looks like a QB from the past millennium.
Shocking how Fickell went from a guy in 2021 we were on the pod saying yeah he's the #1 guy you would want for UW but no way we could get him to that.
Also, this is the Maximus McCree revenge bowl so that gives us some juice.

Fuck Vanilla.
@haieChinned for the Steve Blake reference. What? No love for Juan Dixon?

Still, while I'm totally agnostic on Fisch, I have to say if he can't beat Maryland on the road it's fair to say there may be a problem with the coaching staff.
Gotta get a road win here and Maryland is what the doctor ordered. In the Big 10 now and you have to play and beat teams like this on the road. Shouldn't have to be at home to do it. That makes sense for Michigan, Buck, etc. Not Maryland.
