Mike Gundy sells the couch

classy move by osu to fire him the day after his anniversary of his 'im a man, im 40' rant.
-
-
UW can get him for cheap when Fisch goes to Florida
-
If UW doesn’t offer Cigarette 10 million per year when Fish swims away then shutter the program.
-
Why not 15m?
-
He'll get DeBoer money.
-
Cig gonna command a lot of big offers if he decides he doesn't just want to be a god at Indiana and then retire. 10-2 could be really easy for them this year if they can win at Iowa.
-
I don't see how they aren't going to roll Iowa.
Predictably Iowa is much worse than last year and their QB doesn't change much.
-
Okie State had a 45 percent win percentage. Gundy won 65 percent
I'd say he retired without telling anyone
Did a hell of a job until last year
-
It's pretty clear that after the Pickens money dried up, he went to the AD asking (telling) them what they're going to do about it, and they said "here's a flag that can be flown on GameDay every weekend, this should get you by" and he silently said Fuck You to that.
-
Yeah Gundy won a lot at a program that was kind of like a worse Coug or old school Beav that happened to have Barry Sanders. I assume the Pickens money helped a lot with that. He was a character and entertaining before people were doing it intentionally for clicks, which I appreciate. What happened with the Pickens money after he died? Did he leave some and it just ran out or was there a falling out? I can't remember.

I don't know if it was just a joke but the PDX radio guys said it was the widows doing.

Firing a guy with no clear succession plan
This Should go well

NIL and the current state of college football killed this program. Not Mike Gundy. Good luck finding a guy that will care more for that place than he did
-
I'm a bit sad.
-
He also had two of the best college WR’s to ever play CFB in Dez Bryant and Justin Blackmon.
-
Jimmy Johnson coached at Okie state - and lost to Don James 24-18
-
Pat Jones led the Cowboys to win over #12 Washington in 1985
Larry Coker was the OC

85 season was brutal, totally forgot we lost at home to OKstate. The ass kicking we took @byu the next week was painful. Listened to the game while making political signs in a warehouse for my old man. The comeback I kept waiting for never materialized. Same year I believe the Beavers beat us as the largest favorite in ncaa at the time.
