Shit like this is awesome
-
This i agree with.. his tarrifs not so much
-
It’s essentially the same thing
-
Need full spectrum though. Need to tariff third party off shore coding gig work and stuff.
-
Not exactly... but it is similar i will agree to that.
-
Our demonrat commies cheer the ChYnese coding U.S. military work!
-
It’s essentially the same thing. Missed opportunity to brand it as an H1B carbon tax since everyone loves those.
-
lol perfect.
-
Hell yeah. Fuck that shit. It’s the ultimate scam, they have gaming the system down to a science.
“Can’t find Americans” to do entry and mid level fucking web development and photoshop. What a crock of shit -
They'd just work remotely on contact. This is just more stupid isolationism.
-
I feel like offshoring got popular again because 2020-2022 we saw how entitled a lot of people got working from home.
Now that tech employees are coming back to the office, their value over these shitty companies is realized again.
-
Just keep them out of semis and off the road
-
You probably don't want them encrypting and managing your bank transactions either.
-
I don’t want to hear them because I can’t fucking understand them.
No I will not kindly _____
-
I finally tried it this summer and then rage quit on the relationship and set a couple of jr devs up with a llm plugin and memory holed the entire fucking experience.
-
More America last from AOG!
-
Did you just do a "yeah but still"?
-
Okay then let's also make sure that players from other states pay 100k to play for Washington. We are Washington first! Do you grasp the problem. When you limit who can apply the quality goes down.
-
If we limited the huskys to Washington players do you know what team we'd have? Central. Now you capisci?
-
Dumbest analogy I’ve seen here in a long time.
-
It’s still early in Ellensburg. Plenty of time to outdo himself today.
-
It's a perfect analogy. I could say why, but it would be my time wasted.
-
What you appear to be saying is there aren’t capable US tech workers who could fill these jobs.
Is this correct? America Last as always for the TugTards.
-
Amazon and Microsoft built themselves off of local talent and have said so too many times to even bring it up anymore, but still.
-
What I am saying is that if competition for highly skilled jobs is international the quality will be the best. Americans naturally are going to be favored as somewhat anyway. The huskies open recruiting beyond this state to bring in the best. If the huskies just recruited in state there would be good players still but lots more guys like Central has because there is less competition. So the huskies would be at lower level.
-
Apples to pears. Nice work AOG. The issue is that US based industries is that "quality" puts a premium for much cheaper foreign labor. There was little enforcement of the "labor shortage" requirement for a work visa and had soon to be fired US workers were having to train their foreign replacements. America Last was the working philosophy for dems and the US republican senators from the US Chamber of Commerce and of course the Tug leftards.
-
AOG's masters fooled her again.
The fact that some rare skills and abilities are only held by tens of thousands of people worldwide does not at all mean that the USA should continue to let lower skilled cheaper labor into this country or let companies get away with offshoring without penalty.
It's never been good for a small to mid sized US company to pay a bunch for an H1-B that is going to leave after a year or two and never be responsible for their spaghetti ass codebase ever again.
-
spaghetti code superiority guy
-
Broke cum guzzling leftest.
-
Why is that tough news? I’m sure offshore work will be used instead and then you’ll miss out on tax revenue.
