The crazed drunk driver accused of mowing down a 16-year-old on a Queens sidewalk after she rejected his lewd advances was charged with murder Saturday night -- and it's not the first time he was nabbed driving under the influence.Driving with a suspended license, Edwin Cruz-Gomez, 38, allegedly plowed a 2009 Chevy Suburban into teen Jhoanny Gomez-Alvarez following a heated fight with the girl, her boyfriend, her mother and the mother's friend Saturday morning outside an Elmhurst bar.
Earlier in the year, he had been charged with driving while intoxicated on the Southern State Parkway in Long Island, according to court papers obtained by The Post.
His license was suspended following the Jan. 26 incident.
If you're wondering why this illegal alien criminal had a license at all, it's because this is the sanctuary pro-murder state of New York.
Six months later, he was caught speeding and driving with a suspended license by Nassau County cops, court records show.
He was set to appear in Nassau County District Court next month for both cases.
Despite the previous arrests, a heavily sloshed Cruz-Gomez was sitting outside Prima Dona on Roosevelt Avenue and Benham Street when the group walked by around 4 a.m., sources said.
The clash erupted when he allegedly made sexual remarks to the teen.
Moments later, the maniac allegedly got behind the wheel and drove up on the sidewalk, pinning the helpless girl against a pillar, according to sources.

I'm told he was also ignored by ICE after an October 2024 arrest for possession of a forged instrument because the Biden administration didn�t consider him an immigration enforcement priority.
I'm told EDWIN CRUZ-GOMEZ was last deported in 2005 and has DUI arrests on Long Island in 2013 & again in January of this year. He was released before ICE could lodge a detainer.
ICE has now filed a detainer on him with local authorities in NY for his murder charges.

Were I used to work they put Terrazzo in the lobby. Took over a year because it was obvious that the contractor had never installed it and it was a disaster had to tear it out a couple of times then when finally finished if it got the slightest bit of water (like it never rains in Portland) and it super slick, like walking on wet ice and they had to buff it rough which took off the shine but stopped almost daily falls and injury claims for broken wrists etc. I think several people with the contractor and the building manager got fired.

Former Columbia graduate student and anti-Israel activist Mahmoud Khalil will be deported to Syria or Algeria after a new ruling from an immigration judge in Louisiana found he purposefully committed fraud on a green card application, newly filed court documents revealed.
Immigration Judge Jamee Comans rejected three motions filed by Khalil's lawyers on Sept. 12 -- including one in which he sought approval for a waiver to remedy factual omissions on a green card application, which Comans ruled to be intentionally fraudulent.
Khalil neglected to disclose his involvement, association and participation with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) and Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD) on his Form I-485, Comans ruled.
"The evidence shows the Respondent knew of the potential immigration consequences for his involvement in protests organized by varying organizations on campus, including CUAD," the judge wrote in a ruling shared by Khalil's lawyers.
"The waiver was not designed to reward a lack of candor by applicants admitted as immigrant visa holders who then intentionally engage in dishonesty by misrepresenting facts in the application process to adjust status, post entry," Comans stated plainly in the ruling.
Comans noted that several factors were considered when determining whether Khalil qualified for a waiver to remedy his factual inaccuracies on his residency application -- including the fact that he is married and has a young child who was born in April while he was in federal custody.
However, those factors were outweighed by the overt, purposeful omissions and by the Secretary of State deeming his presence in the United States to have "potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences," the ruling stated.
The judge also noted a negative factor in the 30-year-old's appeal is that he owns no property or business and has never held a job while living in the United States, according to the ruling.
