Shallow motive would be just a left wing lunatic with mental sickness who got radicalized by the media and/or his educators on trans issues and decided to take a shot.
Deeper motive would be the success and that TPUSA was having in engaging young voters which threatened the status quo there.
Either way it’s a politically driven assassination where you can be 90% sure that trans activism was the driving motive to kill.

I’m not buying the Israel angle. If they wanted to take a shot at someone every time hard words were said about their practices in the Middle East, the streets would be painted red.
Plus, Kirk’s comments were like 24hrs prior to him being killed. I’d think this took a little more time and planning to arrange.
