It's all in the lines

I admit, I thought we could play with Oregon, mostly because I thought our lines were good enough.
They weren't.
Oregon struggles with teams who are strong up front. Our d line might be close, but they're not deep enough. Our o line flat out got abused.
Should this surprise anyone after watching Sark's recruiting classes year after year?
We'd all love Peterson to take us from mediocre to great in the first few games.
It's not going to happen.

Why should we take anything seriously today, from anybody that thought UW was going to have a chance yesterday?
It's been 11 years of incorrect pregame analysis and incorrect post-game rationalizations.

Sark recruited plenty of top talent to both lines.
It's not his fault Peterman can't develop players at this level. -
Anyone who watched the first 6 games and didn't get doogy over beating shitty defenses and struggling vs stanford like they did would not be surprised.

It wasn't thinking our offense was great, it was hoping our defense finally would hold them to something reasonable.MikeDamone said:Anyone who watched the first 6 games and didn't get doogy over beating shitty defenses and struggling vs stanford like they did would not be surprised.
