The Hatchett snap miscommunication to defensive bust was a 14 point swing right before the half.
But yeah, get off the field on 3rd and 4th and long. Nothing else matters and it's a UW program staple at this point.

Tough to do that without a pass rush.

Roman posted on X that CSU average snap to throw was 2.2 seconds

A lot of the QB’s missed throws were a direct result of having a guy pushed into his face. If he’d averaged 2.4 seconds snap to throw there would have been 3-5 sacks.

Which begs the question why Walters had the corners lined up 10 yards off the los

The only crazy CB cushion I remember was on a third and long on CSU's touchdown drive where Davis just basically gave the guy 10 yards and a TD. Not sure if they were doing it all game, but CSU rarely short routes to the WRs, so maybe it worked? I barely ever saw Prysock out there, in a good way because he wasn't thrown against.

I rewatched last night and the d line got way more push than I thought in the 1st half. The CBs just handed them short out repeatedly even though the QB needed to get it out immediately. I can't imagine how frustrating that must be as a dlinemen to get in to the backfield in 2 seconds and it's not fast enough
