Free Steve Ballmer: NBA Hit Job

why are we not discussing the hit job that the NBA is putting into our beloved own Steve Ballmer? We are all support business (minus @EverettChris ) and think we all should be defending our own. I personally approve of outside payments for services rendered.

Fuck Ballmer. He could have saved the Sonics and chose not to.
Fuck him and his murderous mate Bill Gates.
-
Kind of a wild story. Guessing there’s some real meat there with enough plausible deniability. We need Balmer creating and funding some LLC’s like this for UW football.
-
Cuban defended him which has everyone looking at Dirk's contracts
-
Yeah there’s probably no bottom to any of this. Tom Brady was always rumored to be involved in this kind of stuff too.
-
It’s amazing to me how Om the only one who seems to know that Swoop is Soaz, regardless of the IP proxy used.
-
So what is the s story? Or should I walk across the street and ask him? (He’s about 8x my size with a reputation … )

Averted the NBA salary cap by funding some marketing company and that marketing company paying Kawhi Leonard $28m to do nothing.
-
lol I was sort of wrong. It was a marketing deal with a green tree planting company run by a major Dem donor, that declared bankruptcy on March 31, 2025.
Gonna go out on a limb (pun intended) and say the USAID direct or indirect money dried up and that’s why they couldn’t keep paying Kawhi.
-
Everyone says USAID but the reality was it was every branch of the government from DoE to DoE.
"Whole government approach to the climate crisis, dei, etc."
Lots more than just the USAID tap got cutoff.
-
For sure. I was using USAID as a proxy for the collective whole thing.
-
This was the head of green tree planting company at. Shocked.

Don't care about Ballmer or the NBA. Hit job? Don't be retarded enough to get caught. Apparently he's the one owner who couldn't figure that out.
-
He did create a website allegedly predicated on news transparency.

-
Figured, but wanted to clarify for our readers.

Any players other than Kawhi Leonard and Tim Duncan you can justify an endorsement contract.
So is it player penalty? Because LeBron has all kind of endorsement deals that he barely promotes.
-
There is zero indication that Kawhi performed anything in return for the money. The only terms of his contract with that company were that we was a member of Clippers to receive payment. Ballmer invested $50m into this company right around the same time Kawhi signed an extension with the Clippers at below market rates and Kawhi signed his contract with this company. Lots of smoke.

But Donald Sterling is worse! 😒
