Tariffs….

Do you need someone to explain all this to you?
-
It’s been explained for months now, and the only takeaway is there isn’t a single TugTard who is capable of acknowledging even in the slightest when they are wrong.
-
Winning!
-
Still winning!!! Highest rise in 100 years!!!!
-
Uhh, Buck, did you actually read that article?

Fuel prices and fuel taxes are higher in Washington than in competing states, and wages are higher than in competing states and competing nations.
…
Farmers are always at the mercy of the weather, and in Central Washington, Imperial has been pleading for relief. A three-year drought has led to six-day-on, three-day-off water restrictions, impacting the yield from his field.
“The struggle is when the heat wave comes; if you’re on that off time, then you have an issue with production,” Imperial said.
…
Many vegetables are exempt from tariffs; however, tomatoes, bell peppers, and avocados are some that are subject to the import tax and may be contributing to the rise in prices tracked by the BLS.
Though both farmers say tariffs could help ease the strain on local American farms.
“Restricting the import of some food products to encourage that they would be produced in the U.S, I think that’s a good thing for the farming community.” Wisdom said.

lol oh so we like that stat and that person can stay??? Soooo let’s say that number turns negative the next two quarters, can we still trust it? Because if so, I’ll be asking you to defend it.
And remember, that rise in Q2 is coming off the negative growth in Q1. Average the two and and it’s way lower than the growth we’ve been experiencing!

”could be”
Headlines for dumbshits

On a personal level, I went to go upgrade my clubs this morning. wtf????? This thing was $349 a week ago.
15% tariff passed onto me now. I feel like kicking my neighbors cat! -
That’s normal retail at over $600 and you’re complaining about $369 for what appears to be a used version?
You seem poor.
-
Nevermind, it’s a fairway wood.
For the short hitters like Buck.
Sure would be nice to edit a post.
-
If the 15% tariff was passed on to you, that $349 price would have gone up to $401.35.
HTH
-
Explain this post. Are suggesting someone like Bryson doesn’t carry a fairway wood?
What a dumb reply!!!
-
I have that driver, like it a lot. Been using the same 3w for like ten years. Once you find a 3w you like don’t every give it up.
-
You’re not playing the same layouts Bryson plays and if you are, you aren’t going for Par 5 greens in 2 shots where you’d need that club.
You’re a short hitter from the Blue tees at your local course. Nothing wrong with it. Even little hitters can scramble for pars.
-
Bryson hits his 7 iron 200 yards
Some guys use 7 or 9 woods if they are shorter hitters
Take it to the caddyshack
-
I have the LST. That thing has added about 15 to 20 to my drives great driver.
-
Jeebus guys.
what argument are you trying to make? EverettChris is stating that if you’re a short hitter, you have fairway woods in your bag. That was a dumb statement almost everyone has at least one fairway wood in their bag Siri
-
EverettChris needs to get his golf reads down. Bad takes.
-
The Sugar Bowl economy is now the Ping fairway wood economy.
Don’t carry one that big. Don’t need it.
-
by all means list out your yardages, and I’ll be the judge of whether you need one or not
-
I guess if you’re hitting your driver 150 yards you don’t need one you’re right
-
They make those drivers for short people? Best plastic available I hope.
-
The new board is healing. From tariffs to fairway woods smack
As a kid I loved to drive with my 2 wood. Don't think they exist anymore except for the new fad of the mini drivers
-
Ping is one of the few who at least assemble in the US. So probably at least 40% of their inventory cost has no tariffs. They are making a good product these days and people are willing to pay for it.

- Tariffs ruling: In a setback to President Trump’s global trade war, a federal appeals court on Friday found that many of his tariffs were issued illegally, upholding an earlier decision from a federal trade court. The appeals court found that the bedrock of the trade war — an international emergency powers law that permits the president to take broad trade action in response to economic emergencies — “does not authorize the tariffs imposed by the Executive Orders.” But the judges delayed the implementation of their order until October to grant the administration time to seek review by the Supreme Court, which would allow the duties to remain in place for now. In other words the appellate courts finding is toothless.. delay delay is lost, now it's an opinion for a headline if I read the article correctly.
Also kamamala loses secret service protection at the bottom of the article.
-
lol yeah basically nothing happened.
-
Guys…can we invite EverettChris to the Golf section? The dude will continue to say one asinine thing after another that it will continue to gain momentum like it does here on the Tug
