Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
What are "they" saying about UW headed into the season?
A thread to dump all sorts of national media clips.
Greg McElroy and his massive herpes sore kicks things off here. Major doog boner for Demond.

”They” are your source?
Greg McElroy is your sore?
That's what THEY want you to think
My GOD that thing on his lip probably has its own pronouns.
On3 (who?) interviewing Fisch sticks here.
I need to hear the Sirius XM preview first.
Yogi's out there waxing poetic in front of 2 listeners right now even.
I was talking about the TV network
I like it. If UW were a longer time B1G program there would be more classic games
As time goes by that's going to be a great feature
The 92 and 2000 Rose Bowls get shown on the regular
Let me know when you hear it because I've yet to hear more than two minutes of UW being talked about on the official B1G radio channel.
UW kicks at 8 pm its first two weeks. No other school is taking it in the shorts like UW. The current iteration of alignment in the B1G is a shit deal for fans. Originally I thought B1G expansion to 24 or 28 teams was a ridiculous idea, but I'm now fully onboard to get back to having a West division within the conference.
Same with our Michigan win last year.
Wait, why would the B1G Network show a Michigan or Ohio State loss on their only channel?!?! Seems fake!!!!!!
Okay well as Race has said, their actual single national TV channel tells a different story and that matters 10x more than satellite radio.
The other thing is the medium. TV is structured content. Radio is a guy riffing 3/4 of the time.
The final thing is that if you want to talk about a shit deal for fans, any conversation that doesn't begin and end with how the Pac 12 and their 7 channels of Olympic sports treated us shouldn't be taken seriously. What were we paid by that network and radio station compared to the B1G?
The B1G knows what they're doing for us by feeding us Michigan and Ohio State (and yes fucking Illinois and the LA schools) at home. That's a bigger money maker than anything the Pac 12 could ever do for us, including Rev share agreements.
Our game against Oregon and letting their TV people boat around a real non truck stop football venue are what they're getting from us.
I don't like the 8pm games at all. It means I'm not getting home to Woolley until like 2am. We were playing plenty of 8pm games in the Pac-12 though, and Friday night games. I've said it before too that hating 8pm games is strictly a west coast thing. Primetime eastern time games start at 7:30/8pm.
The Pac-12 Network preseason coverage of football was the same thing with Yogi hyping up the Coug and Colorado at their worst just as much as the top teams in the conference.
I'm sure the Big 10 sees the value of UW. Especially at a half share for a while. They'd be idiotic not to. I would bet it was intentional to quickly send Michigan and Ohio State out here to give us some revenue, highlight the stadium, and give those fanbases, and their local fans, a taste of what's here.
”…and give those fanbases, a taste of what’s here.” lol
Welcome to @dannarc upper deck folks, sit on down and enjoy the show
Theory - UW put some bucks into getting these jack wipes to start talking about them out of nowhere.
