Didn't the Oklahoma purchasers of the Sonics sort of "intend" to keep the team in Seattle? The new owners are going to want either a new arena or a huge renovation of the Moda Center. The amount of money that the City of Portland will put up for a new arena will be the same amount they paid Paul Allen to build the Rose Garden/Moda Center - Nada.
