I just ate 4 of those yasso ice cream bars for dinner.

@YellowSnow I think we are in general agreement that obesity is the biggest health problem in the US. No reason to not also pursue other problems with the food supply. Americans will be fat fucks until the day that cheap snacks disappear. People would rather take pills so that they can continue pigging out on Cheetos and Mountain Dew.

why not both GIF.
-
Because it's misleading to make people think there's a healthier version of Coca Cola or French fries.
-
so because there are some dipshits who actually don’t know obesity is a more significant culprit we shouldn’t push for less bullshit ingredients in our food?
not really following honestly.
-
Because obesity is the root cause of all the diseases.
Why are seed oils and HFCS "bull shit" ingredients and cane sugar and beef tallow somehow "good" ingredients if the end result is the same?
-
Are you claiming that cancers, diabetes, etc did not exist before people started getting fat?
HFCS is connected to fatty liver and more likely to be connected to obesity. Seed oils cause inflammation. Artificial dyes cause behavioral problems. Artificial sweeteners screw up insulin responses, can cause users to have increased hunger, are tied to cancers, etc. It is not just about calories in and calories out. People being fat causes lots of health problems. CHEMICALS in food are also not good for people to consume.
Starting to think that Yella works for Bayer.

T2 diabetes used to be pretty rare a hundred years ago and has gone up directly in proportion with obesity rates.
Increased cancer rates track with increased obesity as well. Obesity is a major risk factor in many cancers.
Fatty liver is metabolic dysfunction and/or excessive alcohol consumption. So people switching from HFCS soda to cane sugar soda is going to help here? Doubtful.
There's no strong evidence to suggest artificial sweeteners cause cancer.
Just cause something is a synthesized chemical doesn't make automatically bad for you.
I wish I worked for Bayer. Probably pays well.
