CALORIES vs INGREDIENTS: The Case for YellowSnow
.
I must concede, the statistic that American's average 3400 calories and less-than 20 minutes of exercise per day is striking.

3400?! That's nearly 50% more than what people need to maintain weight. Wouldn't the average male put on 1.5 lbs every 3 days eating like that without any exercise?

It’s atrocious and sadly it’s just basic maff
And by maff I mean arithmetic.

"Biochemically there's little difference between cane sugar and HFCS"
"Zero differences in metabolic health outcomes"

I 100% agree with everything the good doctor said and it perfectly sums up my criticism of the MAHA obsessions with HFCS, seed oils, food dyes, etc.
The root cause of metabolic disease in the country is overconsumption of calories and little or no movement. Cooking fries in beef tallow or switching to Messican Coke is such a silly distraction from personal responsibility. It's hard, and it's a process to count calories, cook whole meals, and move around, but it's the only way besides Ozempic.
I used to be BP regular but Krystal and Saagar have too many shit takes some of the time (TITTT) so I listen a lot less. I'm still strong wood on Krystal. People forget she was a D1 Swimmer a Clempson.

Saw one of these billboards a few years back and thought we are fucked. I worked hard to drop my weight at middle age and was THANKFUL for it. It's why I keep it off

I don't believe that the first claim about those substances pertains to obesity. You're ignoring chronic disease, allergies, etc.
-
the public health crisis in America is metabolic diseases and heart Disease. We are unhealthy because we’re fucking fat. Dealing in hypotheticals about Roundup in Cheerios is a waste of time and energy from a policy standpoint.
-
Sky net says an active 205 pound male needs 2800 to 3500 calories per day to maintain body weight. I’m guessing I average 3500 per day on average. people forget the UW athletic department used to give old Yella cases of insure old people drink so I could get to a healthy weight. 400 calories per can.

Obesity is issue #1 for the general population, but there are a lot of cancers showing up in young, thin people at rates never seen before. Processed foods and chemicals.
-
my point is that maha is popping off about Messican Coke and beef tallow fries and natural color fruit loops are major public health wins which is poppy cock. It could be that higher rates of cancer in yoots is related to being fat and out of shape.
