When aliens come down and study our dead civilization and the death of college football they will note Sark having high level success and making the playoffs was a signal that the sport was fucked out and became just about who can buy players out of high school and the portal and not self destruct.
I don't know… I liked it. He got off the sauce and is coaching at a pretty high level, into what he is doing. I DGAF anyway anymore really about college-pro football per se.

I like Sark (unlike others). I kind of like Sark's story. I don't think he's more than a kind of above average coach but all he has to do is not get in his own way as much as possible to have a top 5 team forever now.

USC taking him off our hands coupled with going 3-0 against him takes away any hard feelings that might’ve been there otherwise.
The USC move helped because he had definitely peaked at UW and we would have hated him when he went 7-6 again in 2014 and 15 and we had to fire him, but he left for a job we couldn't hate him for taking and he left us with some nice pieces of talent Petersen wouldn't have recruited. I've never heard him say anything remotely bad about UW and it's not like we chose him over better options back in 2009.
