The committee might be all democrat. I know they have the super majority, but there might be one or two Republicans. Imagine telling tax payers that they are going to have to pay 15 fucking percent more this year after having raised it 4 of the last 5 years. I read 3 articles. None talked about cutting spending.

Yep. The purpose is going to get framed as response to the BBB, but it’s really an emergency because tax revenue is coming in short of projections.
