The marxist labor theory of value writ large. Women basketball players work as hard as male basketball players ergo their labor has the same worth/value as male players. In the real world value is determined by the market - what would a willing buyer pay to a willing seller. Labor per se has no intrinsic value. It is what someone will pay you for that labor. The WNBA players are free to open up their own league and pay as much as they think is "fair" - as long as they have the capital to do so. Or they can play in Europe or China or Turkey or were ever.
Just like the same morons think that CBS should lose $40 million a year propping up Colbert because that is the moral thing to do while using other people's money to virtue signal.

One of the ladies on TheView was going off about how WNBA players are underpaid and should make as much as their NBA counterparts.
As a share of revenue they actually make more, and the reality is the NBA actually subsidizes the WNBA so it can pay its operating costs. If they didn’t, these chicks would all make less than nurses.
