Jayapal and some idiot from FL are pressing a bill to allow homeless across the nation to have the right to camp and live on any public land. The bill would not allow the authorities to touch these drug addicts. They could literally live in any park or fill up the post office parking lot.
The insanity on the left is astounding and why we can never let them be in charge again.

Pramila Jayapal and Florida Democrat Rep. Maxwell Frost have a new bill that would export the disastrous homelessness policies of Seattle to the entire nation.
The "Housing Not Handcuffs Act" would nationalize this failure. It would prevent federal agencies from addressing the very real public safety and health issues that arise from encampments. The bill's language is so broad that it protects not just sleeping, but also storing personal property to the "same degree as property in a private dwelling." It even grants them privacy rights over their public encampments. Imagine the implications: sprawling, unregulated encampments with the same legal protections as you in your own home.

Zero chance of this passing, but it does show that even the furthest Left of Democrats know their homeless policies are turning off their constituents, so now they apparently want to make them survive on federal lands in Montana and other red states.

The dipshit mayor in Spokane recently tried to allow camping in public parks (again). That stance lasted about 3 days until the citizenry finally had some balls and stood up to the nonsense.
Imagine homeless camps in Yellowstone National Park. Fuck that. Piles of feces and vomit on the boardwalk around Old Faithful - kiss my ass.
You want to let them live out in the woods in bumfuck national forest? Sure - they'd survive about 3 days before the bears ate them or they fell in a crevice or river. On second thought - that might have some merit. Survival of the fittest homeless fucks.
Re-establishment of mental institutions would go a helluva lot farther than any other 'solution' the gubmint could provide. Would immediately thin the herd of homeless fucks by at least 1/3. Public safety would go up quite a bit too. The old drunk hobos around Pike Place/Cutters back in the day were just drunk - they didn't try to machete people.
I’ll be in Yellowstone at the end of this month for three nights. Herds of homeless competing for land with herds of bison/elk and packs of wolves in the Lamar Valley sounds like a fun experiment.
Anytime I drive south through Nevada on the 93 I figure the entire country’s homeless population could fit out there between Reno and Vegas. Drop them all there with plenty of water, a 22 rifle and plenty of ammo. They’ll either learn to hunt the approximately 80 billion giant jack rabbits out there, or they’ll go thunderdome and just shoot each other.
Either way. Win win.

The city clowncil here tried to get "tough" and banned panhandling on medians. It worked for about two months. Then I saw some crackhead lady in one of their favorite spots again before 7 a.m. More of them will be back in October when it cools off. Go into any Circle K after dark, or even before it and it's not surprising to see at least five. One mouthed off something to me the other day when I went into Quick Tit for some food and didn't give him any change. I should have kicked his ass but I was on lunch.
