Completely fair. I love both of those guys with all my Moog heart, but that was an insulting distraction from shitty play that way too many M’s fans fell for.
With Griffey, I had a convo with an insider (like waaaay inside), about the “sleeping in the clubhouse” deal that fueled his exit v.2. He would not spill the beans, but listened to my theory, which was it was staged by people in uniform to get him out of there…
