    That’s not what I heard!! I heard that Texans can take care of each other and don’t need FEMA. Boy how things change when it’s your towns that need them!!!

    Let’s just hope we don’t have presidential candidates encouraging aggressive action against those workers like they did last year.

    The nitwit that cheered no FEMA help after the hurricane is criticizing FEMA being deployed after the flood has something to say? His side spent FEMA's budget to import and house millions of illegal criminals and he cheered long and loud for that. We should house 20 or 30 illegals with him in his moms basement.

    The process is the governor declares a state of emergency, an application for assistance is made to FEMA. The application is reviewed and a response is generally within 10 days.

    FEMA responded in one or two days - depending on when you start the clock
