I worked with the daughters of a couple who came across the river and got amnesty under Reagan. They voted GOP which is why the GOP only pretended to care about immigration. Actually were Trump voters in 2016. Dad was a truck driver and mom a nurse and they had a slice of the dream in Rancho Cucamonga

Those were the people that most Americans didn't give much thought to. But all you have to do is look at the difference in polling on Trump and deportation from 2016 to today

Nobody who voted for Trump wants amnesty, and combined polling shows 58% of Americans want all illegals deported.

Where is this popular foundation for amnesty found? I understand why Dem pols and their UniParty cucks want it, but no US taxpayer with a brain who isn’t far Left should want any sort of amnesty.
