but I entirely agree with Amy Coney Barrett here and said the same thing myself before Obergefell.
ACB: “those who want same-sex marriage … have every right to lobby in state legislatures to make that happen.”
At this point, I would say that people have relied on Obergefell, and it should not be disturbed, just as Roe should have been left standing. But honestly, Roe was also more defensible than Obergefell, and we saw what this court did to Roe. At some point, I expect this court to overturn Obergefell.
Gay marriage should have been left to the states. My liberal friends quarreled with me when I said so.
But as you who follow the bored all know, I'm always right.

Must be why you voted for Obama
And mocked state's rights when we said it belonged to the state's
Dazzler is full of shit. When this was being argued the dazzler said it was an equal protection argument. Men could marry women and women could marry men. Seems equal to me. But the dazzler was all in on anyone could marry anyone. That led to the counter argument is it a 14th amendment issue so you marry both a man and then a woman? Or two men or two women? The dazzler has been right about what? He is wrong at a historical level. Roe has no Constitutional support. When penumbras and emanations are your support, you don't have any support.
H giving his undergrad take on SCOTUS decisions is always a hoot.
When the facts aren't on your side, just make shit up, right Gasbag?
Shall we put some money on your effort to show that I said any of the things you now claim I said?
I been terribly consistent about this, old girl. Obergefell is a shitty decision for the same reason DOMA was fucked up.
Who can marry has always been a question of state law. There is no unconstrained right to marry and there has never been uniformity on the question at the state level. If your marriage can't be performed in a particular state, go to a state where it can be.
You'll find no place have I ever said anything else.
Fuck off
Peddle your bullshit to the rubes like bucky
You supported it and voted for the people that made it happen
WestlinnDuck and I remember
As does Pepperidge Farms
Leftards lie and love to be lied to. That's the dazzler to a T.
I freely confess it wasn't voting issue for me.
Much like having a candidate who tells the truth about anything really wasn't a voting issue for you.
I see we've exhausted the depths of Race and Gasbag's ability to engage on the topic.
Back to your echo chamber, ladies.
you wrote more than two sentences, that's where their attention span ends.
Sounds like you are a gay-hating bigot
and?
Must be desperate times when you gotta reach for "they're gonna repeal gay marriage".
Even most republicans agree the LGB's have a right to be just as miserable as the rest of us.
Remarkably dead issue to try and make hay on.
