Watch the video. Re Nirvana he points out that the music and videos are reflective of young people, seriousness, and also comedy, keeping them relevant to younger audiences. Also they appear authentic, which quite honestly, the image of say Van Halen, looks a bit hokey in comparison. For the record I love Van Halen. This same contrast would be found between Van Halen vs. Metallica, or even Guns n Roses. The latter appear much more "authentic," or "real." Diamond Dave doesn't help with that image.

Queen, IMO is a band that’s good but not great/all timers. Freddy was a great performer which is shocking considering he was gay.
You know there’s something a little bit off with a band when so many of their hits are from movies.
