Curious how those of us from Seattle or WA are feeling post mortem, compared to how we might have envisioned feeling going into the conference championships?

I thought the feeling of OKC winning would sting, how much I wasn’t sure. With the amount of time the Sonics have been away while having little to no interest in the nba I had a slight tinge of discomfort after Indiana lost game 4 that may have lasted 20 minutes at most. The game 7 loss, feeling next to nothing. 2011 would have been much different.

The only thing I saw that stood out was seeing Nick Collision near the celebration in the clip I viewed on espn. Admittedly I only watched 2 quarters of the nba all season and that was the first game of the playoffs. Hugh Millen had a nice rant ripping Howard Shitz on Softy and Dick’s interview yesterday. Pouring out the 40 gif

TL:DR … Feelings = nothing burger

It pisses me off, but much less than it would have 15 years ago. haven't lived in Seattle for a long time. I didn't even live there in 2008 when Nickels and the city council took Bennett's money.

The NBA is boring. There's almost no post play or mid range jumpers. I grew up with the dominant centers - Kareem, David Robinson, Hakeem, Shack etc. Now it's hoist 37 threes a game. The NBA seemed decent from 2010-2015, but it sucked in the 2000s, and it's sucked in the past ten years.

All that said, fuck Oklahomo. Wasteland.

Don't care at all and have not found one other person in the real world here who gives a crap about it. If it was the OKC team with KD, Westbrick, etc 3-4 years after leaving town that would've sucked.
