If they didn’t need any LB this year then why bring 3-4 in on visits to wine, dine and waste resources on? It just seems concerning. They all came in, met Odom and passed on UW. Is this a problem? Sample size is small but I’m not pleased with early returns.
I look forward to UW being the official employer of these kids so we can see their TBS salary information. The whole "this is home" is pretty laughable knowing that kids are picking schools with the biggest bags and most playing time.
It’s not a 4x bag. Believing these clout chasers who sit behind a desk is hilarious. Malloe and Jethro Franklin have put multiple DL and Edges into the NFL. Read Kafausi’s bio. Not a one! Of course Romans “sources” aren’t gonna say Kafausi sucks. And Roman feeds Acrop all his info. 📠
I forgot to add that shortly before my dad died, I was texting with @Joey and @WoolleyDoog and talking about my dad and the Travis Claridge story. And Joey said "Well when your dad gets to heaven, he can confront Claridge TO HIS FACE"
I'm not saying that UW didn't need LBs so don't twist on that … just saying that UW signed a good number last year and perhaps it's not the most pressing need (kids see a strong depth chart, we're not prioritizing our bags of cash on these recruits, etc.)
That said at minimum we're seeing trends in 2 positional groups that are at least concerning and require a deep dive
It's important to note in these times that prioritizing your dollars is important and if somebody views or see a player in a far more favorable light than you do then that might be enough to get you to scratch your head.
UW not being good at TE recruiting is one of the more confounding things about the program in recent history but I think it’s not a coincidence we’ve have a dud in Poopoo a lot recently. I know kids probably don’t care but great track record of productive and well drafted guys since the early 90s and a recent good run the last 10-15 years. Judd also showed he really likes to get them the ball. Make it make sense.
DT seems like a tough battle on the west coast more and more every year and a spot where were gonna end up having to overspend every year for JAGs in the portal because there's barely guys who can player there out west now and the few that do I'm sure are prioritized by USC, Oregon, Ohio State, Texas, etc. Problem is same for the portal guys. We also seem to really not produce them instate. Feels like a position where you might have to go out of region now and take guys the big boys don't want there like the Parker bros and hope they pan out. How did we get Onwuzurike out of Texas again?
LB seems like a weird position now and you only start two now so I'm not as concerned. Doesn't seem prioritized at the college or NFL level and seems like the portal is always full of the guys like the ones we took this year.
Jaylon Johnson was a low 3* 6’3” 230lbs DE as well. I’m fine if Kafusi wants to go this route and build up a DL through growth and development. Unfortunately Kafusi is neither getting ready made bodies nor projects for UWs DL. He’s a useless salesman.

A lot of negative nancy's in hear with a #17 ranked class
Especially when half these kids will be playing for different rosters in a few years
Win or fuck off, Jedd
two worthless recruiters.
Maybe 3. Odom has zero LB commits.

We had Malloe.
Levi was a high 3* 6’3” 260lbs DE. Growing him into a DL was a project.
Sounds like Schwerzel

Givens to aTm. LOL
