If we keep all our current commits and get a good chunk of the remaining top guys on the board who are serious targets now, is that our "greatest class in history?" It's not happening, so why am I even asking?

Technically the class would include 3-5 5 stars so probably? But we’re not taking/getting 3 more DBs (Moa, Benjamin, and Arrington). If we get Givens, Umu Cais, Moa, Benjamin, Moala, Madden Williams, David S, Miree/Wesley, etc. I’d probably be fine with calling it the best class in the modern era.

no. From a ratings perspective some people had the Reggie williams class as a top 5. Of course they did the end of season rerank and moved it down. But still. That class underwhelmed anyways.
Ratings are for tbs'rs. Just get rare humans that like football, most of the time those guys are highly rated but now always.Past staffs jizzed their pants over getting Marcus peters, laiatu latu, Taylor Rapp, Braylon Trice, Vita Vea and Sydney Jones for example. Some of them were 4 stars and some were not, but they were top targets regardless.
