I loved the DeBoer defense. TFL on 1st down to the opponent behind the chains and set up for a possible 3rd and long only to give 9 yards on 3rd and 8.
I was going to say this was a big moment for the Dwags but I think Oregon realized in the next 1-2 plays they could just throw to whoever #25 was covering when they needed more than a few yards.
For that one play, I thought the plunger was going to make an appearance.
I thought when they got the ball back up by 11 in the third then came 15 minutes of nightmare fuel.
My buddies and I talk about this exact moment all the time. “Hey, you remember being in the stands and saying if we score here this game might be over? Then the world almost ended? Then it didn’t and everything was perfect for a few hours?”
I remember being in the NS upper deck and screaming at GrubHub why we come out throwing a 50yrd bomb. RTDB, dink and dunk to set up Rome or Polk in red zone. We had them beat at that moment and went full idiot
