The last guy I remember being bummed out losing was Aaron Gordon although I haven’t followed hoops recruiting much since Romar. Although I’m tempering my hoops interest due to battered wife syndrome, I believe Danny can succeed here. Since the Harshman era that’s only happened since the initial Romar hire. I remember telling my best friend from my days at UW I had a feeling about Ro’s hire and had a similar feeling from an early Sprinke interview 12-15ish months back plus his recent success at his previous 2 stop.

Bundalo was the top 30 forward that split. Stienbach is a German kid coming to UW that plays the same position as Bundalo. Stienbach is playing playoff basketball against men in a league over there and Bundalo was running from competition by leaving UW. Steinbach will be really good by the end of the year once he gets acclimated to American basketball. He’s a top 5 Euro player coming to college this year. I really wanted Bundalo but I think UW retained the better of the two players.
