Dimocrats jumped the shark in 2020

They specifically requested that park. They are an explicitly anti-alphabet soup organization. You'd be naive to think the park wasn't requested in order to be provocative. Especially since they were very public about their desire to be provocative.
And of course, the event undoubtedly attracted people anxious to be offended. That was the whole point.
The visiting freaks have First Amendment rights, of course. But why they were able to get a permit to monopolize that setting for 15 hours is a little beyond me. ('Cuz "only" 8 hours would have been a First Amendment violation?) Seattle officials should definitely be called upon to answer questions about those details.

The people who organized and promoted this event include many with clear ties to the movement to replace our secular government with a theocracy. These people aren't the Ballard Lutherans Throbber mentioned this morning.

They did not specifically request that park.
Lie after lie after lie.
-
Yes, they did.
They were provided a list of parks that would accommodate their event. They chose this one.

All he does is lie. Also, so what if they did request that park (which they didn’t)?
-
They requested Pioneer Square you lying sack. The city said move to Cal Anderson
Lie like a fucking rug

That's what I thought
Complete bullshit

"They committed wrong think! They deserve violence from brownshirts er antifascists!"

After they were told Pike St. couldn't accommodate them, the Parks Department had all the substantive conversations with them. The Parks Department provided them a list of parks and the arrangements were actually made with the Parks Department, not the Mayor's Office. They chose Cal Anderson Park from a list. Maybe selective information poasted on the Twitter by self-interested parties isn't the best way to determine facts.
