I don't care to look it up, it's in his X replies, but in response to the earlier rumor this weekend that they wanted to leave, Wilner thought it was laughable that any of these conferences would go try to run their non-rev sports without the NCAA.
No idea what this means for the B1G, but obviously if the SEC doesn't think they need the NCAA then the B1G doesn't either.
Congressman Brendan Boyle issued a warning Monday on X:
“Let me state this as clearly as I can: the @bigten and @sec should be very, very careful about some of the decisions they are about to make. Because they appear hell bent on ruining major college football. I think they need Congressional hearings into their collusion."
Me thinks this is a power play to force the NCAA to stop dragging their feet and declare athletes employees. This will allow for agreed upon guardrails and a stop to the endless lawsuits when they try to make any rule that might help the situation.
it's true. They also have minimized their success by letting the norther and west schools to start paying players too. They're too dumb to realize it though.

I say, I say, I say, is that not the gentleman Shelby Foote?
Who tf is this guy? Just glanced at the logo + verified like a retard.
Two former, rotating Pac schools + one SEC team before conference play would be acceptable.
Do they do a home and away series or does UW get Vanderbilt, Mississippi State and Arkansas at home and LSU, Alabama and Georgia on the road?
One of my all time Husky Stadium moments was seeing Bear Bryant burn a heater during pregame warmups in 1978 at Husky Stadium. Hell of a game too
And of course the standing ovation for losing to LSU is being considered for a statue
