Was in Tucson last month visiting my daughter who’s done with her junior year now. Great campus, she lives right across from the street from that Boca Mexican place in one of the few cool areas of that city. Reminds me of parts of Portland before those got ruined with all the bars, tattoo shops, and artsy bullshit all in one area. Good vibe off of N 4th Street for about a 10 block square.

The rest of it just sucks. Family has a place in Sun Lakes so we stayed there and just drove to Tucson during the day.

We went to the Biosphere and drove that east highway to Tucson. Cool place. My daughter is a biology major who has worked there so we got the special tour even down to the “ocean.” Unlike anything else I’ve ever seen. What an experiment.
