Yeah we just scheduled an appointment and it was 20 minutes at the DMV instead of 3+ hours.
Sounds like TSA can push it back "up-to" two more years. I think they'll not totally admit the push-back, but instead do a two-year marketing run telling travelers they're non-compliant, etc while still allowing them to fly during that period.
