On a related subject, about a year and a half ago I needed a new/updated passport. Since that time I have visited 7 countries. There isn't a single blemish on my new passport.
100% facial recognition. Even to go to Antarctica.

Fupdate: Just went through security at SeaTac, no facial recognition at all. Poors compared to Spokanistan. SAD!

I've been on cruises where customs has facial recognition... speeds up the process big time!

Was already in the database for work unfortunately.
Was pretty mad the first time in Detroit when they told me I didn't need to show ID anymore but what was I gonna do? No point in getting mad at the faceless drone who informed me either.
