Ewers ass must be asleep after 68 hours on the couch. Some of these guys got bad advice and why torture and embarrassment yourself with a camera in your face knowing your draft grade is Saturday. At least Sanders was smart enough to decide against being in the green room Thursday after his initial invite.
ESPN milked every ounce of Sanders’s drama. Once he slide to Saturday I thought his best bed would be to sign with the team/coach (with an offensive HC) of his choice for development. If Mahomes is picked by the Jets and not Andy Reid and KC there’s a likely scenario where he’s broken.
I'd be very interested to know what Ewers' offers in the portal were. Seems like it would have been better than going in the 7th round though I'm not gonna hate on guys for maybe just wanting to go be a professional. Sanders and Ewers actually kind of remind me of Eason in that if you're not mobile now good luck going before the 4th round.
Wasn’t he out of eligibility? Sark has a ton of pressure to start Manning or Ewers ego is such he didn’t want to transfer out (even with a small bag) with the look he lost his job as a back up. Maybe humbling experience but his ceiling seems pretty low.
I think he has great qualities, plays in rhythm, good arm, creative. But he's not a gutsy performer IMO. Seems to go in a shell. Better than Shedeur though.
I don't know if that's fair to call him a retard. If you're a young guy and are relying on the people around you for advice and they're telling you you'll go in the first round, I'm not sure it makes you a retard for following that advice. From a distance he seems like a good kid so based on that I feel a bit bad for him. But the world's a tough place. At least he isn't being human trafficked and sold into slavery. He got drafted in the 7th round.
If being drafted in the 5th round is the equivalent of going to jail for something you didn’t do then the 7th is basically the same as being sold into sex slavery.
I don't buy the 6 million offer for a second. I assume that was put out there from his agent/people to try and drive up prices and excitement. I assume he had NIL opportunities that were better than being a 7th rounder but they also might have been to transfer from Texas to a lesser program and concede that you left just because they were going to give the job to Manning.

Yeah it's called hunting ESPN you limp wristed dumb fuck Jets fans.
Greenberg is absolutely insufferable. Someone get this guy an almond milk latte in Green Bay, Wisconsin before he shits his pants.

The 509 chuckles.
It took a battalion to smoke out Randy Weaver and a couple shotguns. Just try stopping thousands of outdoorsman from killing Bambi.

He had a year left.
Never thought Ewers was very good.
I always viewed him as a rich man's Cary Conklin

I remember seeing that some B1G team offered him like $6 million. Sounds like he’s a fuckin retard for not jumping at that.

Fine. The people advising him are fuckin retards. You’d have to be to think that kid was going in the first round.
