Was the Colonel Angus disclaimer on that originally?
Correct. I have to do lots of preemptive disclaimers for the @PurpleThrobber s of the world.
Mrs Snow has been to Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, You're-a-gay, but she's an International Lady of Mystery. I've never stepped foot in S. America.
I'd really love to go see the big mountain in Potosi, Bolivia, which is where @creepycoug enslaved all the local @Swaye s to fund an empire lasting hundreds of years.

We took a 10 person family trip, beginning in Santiago (FIL was born there), then to Valparaiso to see extended family. Flying into Santiago, the Andes made the Cascades look like Kansas.
Then, to Lima (wife lived there as a child, as well as Ecuador and Panama).
Split off from the group and flew to Cuzco, rented a house for a week, and took the train to Machu Picchu. Then back to Lima. Awesome experience.
On the map, the Throbber has been as far south as Panama. Peru/Machu Pichu is on the agenda in the next year or so.
The Throbber doesn't travel as far south as he used but when he does, it's like the Toby Keith Song.
