yep, that's all fair. if he doesn't learn to throw it away in the NFL it will be for not for long for him. I also wonder if it's more about always making a big play vs. completion % for him.
his personality, while grading, does seem to work for him. let's put it this way: if you have to send your QB to therapy, it's better when you have to send him to the "you have too much confidence" therapist rather than the other kind.
One thing it did is point out that Colorado did have a really nice run as a program that time has mostly forgot when people pointed out that they had some studs in the 80s and 90s, including a past Heisman winner, who didn't have their numbers retired.
Overall, the Sanders operation was big for them. Prior to that they were number one on my list of power conference programs I could realistically see dropping football. Now that's Stanford.
Brock was ho hum as a dawg and if Heaner can play in the league that tells you how desperate teams are for an average arm or qb As a pro, at least Brock had some measurables enough to persuade a team to draft him although he was a very average pro.
Haven’t paid much attention to Colorado or Sanders at QB. The only reason anyone cared or paid attention was Deon and Hunter. It’s anyone guess if Sanders is a bust, average or anything above good at this point. However, since the NFL is so QB driven these days many of the teams with starters similar to the Huard brothers with a very limited ceiling; QBs are going to continue to be over drafted.
When it’s all said and done in 3 years the best QB in this year’s class will likely come from the 3rd or 5th round and not Ward or Sanders. As a fringe Hawk fan taking a flyer on a qb on the weekend is the best bet in case they get lucky. Purdy might be good but giving him a $40+ contract is insane because he’s taking too much of the cap imo.
I was not very engaged during the period from 1995 through 99. Missed a lot of games and I actually think the bowl game with KSU was the first one I really sat down for prior to the 2000 season which got me back into it. I couldn't remember which game was which. I don't think I've ever actually watched the miracle game. I was definitely thinking of 1996.

Sure, but if you run out of bounds for a loss of yards instead of just throwing it into the stands, you're a selfish asshole. Seen him do that too.

C'mon Creep. You literally said grading. Could you have meant grating?
