The biggest challenge for the Yeti's is that they are the 6th best team in their division which is the best division in hockey … that's a bit of a challenge
Not sure that there's any reason to believe anybody ahead of them are planning on taking steps backwards …
That said, it wouldn't shock me if they competed for a spot next year
They ruined their game through a terrible playoff format change and a bunch of expansion teams that look like AHL/WHL concepts. Divisional rivals playing every year is terrible.
Kings are playing Edmonton for what, the 3rd year in a row? The Four Nations playoff was an excellent, I'll give them that.
But NBA playoffs where the stars are rested/fresh after 82 games and everyone has to play defense (or get exposed trying to) at this point is where it's at.
You sound like someone that isn't well versed or informed about hockey.
Kings and Edmonton are playing 4 years in a row … I don't have any issue with it although you'd like to see more back and forth each year in terms of both teams getting something out of each other
The NBA Playoffs are great when you get evenly matched teams that compete … Clippers/Nuggets will be a great series. The balance of this postseason though I suspect will be a bit of a yawn.
Happy Russ went off yesterday. Would really like to see he and the Joker go back on a playoff run. Common sense says they won’t but any team with the best player in the world (yes, Joker is right now…fuck off) has a chance in any given series.
Not sure there’s any player I’ve come to dislike over time as Kawhi. He was the shit circa early San Antonio days. But now he’s just a load management bitch.
He's an albatross for sure but you can tolerate that with Jokic, not to mention Malone just wanted him to go sit in the corner to take 3's which is part of why he was fired.
I watched an old, mid Clippers team run right at Murray over and over to take it to OT.
Shaq just gets up and leaves because he's about to shit his pants while Barkley talks a about how he's never seen a player take months off and then shows up to a playoff game and has no rust at all 😆

Nope. Saw the graphic of the teams that are in it this year… 😴
Are the Utah Yeti's ready to make a run yet?!

PLO! PLO! PLO!
(Must be old to catch the reference).

This Nuggets OT... 🔥

stars-avs playing round 1 when they’re arguably the 2 best teams in the west is so fucking dumb
See @Tequilla
This guy got it right away, whereas you're so far up your own fucking ass that your reply is simply, "You must not be well versed on hockey."
No, I am. I'll give you another chance to try again. "Utah Yeti's" was a pretty big softball as well.
I'm hearing that the Lakers are title contenders.

Nuggets should have offloaded Jamal Murray before the season.
He's the reason that this series is going to be closer than it should be.

The Nuggets owners are Mizzou alums. For some weird reason he thinks MPJ is one of their own even though he only played three games in college.
Looks like my Lakers pick is sinking faster than bucks portfolio.
Golden State is 25-4 with Jimmy Butler in the lineup.
Playoff Jimmy might make things Chinteresting.
What a game and series this is between Denver and LA.
What a game. Kawhi missed maybe 3 shots all game. 2-3 guys in his face all night.
Shaq just gets up and leaves because he's about to shit his pants while Barkley talks a about how he's never seen a player take months off and then shows up to a playoff game and has no rust at all 😆
He's right though, Denver is in trouble.
There are 6 really good teams in the West and that doesn't include Minnesota and St Louis who are probably better than half of the teams in the East
The West is just flat out a meat grinder … there's no way around it
