hh is so patently dishonest. Just a bold faced liar. The "red states" were blue states when racism was rampant. It took 30 years after civil rights and 120 years after the civil war, but in 1994 Republicans finally took over the state legislature in GA. They finally got rid of the racist dems. In 1992 the democrats elected the son of a racist segregationist to the position of VP in the White House. Old habits were hard to die I guess.

Imagine a democrat from the party of the kkk trying to pin racism on Republicans who fought the democrat run South in a civil war over slavery. It took Abe and the Republicans to stop slavery otherwise it might still be here if democrats had their way. FFS Byrd was cherished by you democrats. Coddled and looked up to by your party leaders. Canonized by your leadership when he died and yet here you are trying to lie and change history.
