Frankly, the republicans in Congress should concentrate on getting Trump's big beautiful bill passed. That's by far their biggest Constitutional priority. Impeaching one out of several hundred dem District Court judges is street theater and way too much inside baseball. I'm not sure that their are enough republican votes in the House to actually get the impeachment, then it's dead on arrival in the Senate. Boasberg would love the attention and he would just move to the top of the list for a dem Supreme Court justice if the republicans lost in 2028. No danger of actually losing his job and no threat to any other dem judge.

I'd be fine with getting the bill passed and cutting the waste DOGE is finding and defunding NGOs etc

I’m willing to be patient and get some lock-solid evidence for intial prosecutions. That way, if a DC jury nullifies an obvious guilty verdict based on politics, we can start to have a real conversation on where we want to go with the legal system.
Same people saw what it did to Trump and ignored those convictions.
I mean, I’m an adult with kids in college and a real job, not some idiot Leftist on Twitter or the Tug having daily meltdowns about whatever their news tells them to be upset about that week. DOGE cuts are still happening, the IRS is laying off thousands, but that’s a winner in polling for Drumpf so it’s off to the next thing that will surely end him this time.
The republicans seem to keep learning the wrong lessons from Trump winning.
Too many "republicans" don't care about the country winning. They care about their own grift and that's it. Look at you John Coryn, R Texas of all freaking places. He is getting primaried by a real conservative in 2026 which is the only thing keeping him sort of in line.

It's somewhat an effect of being in a "safe" district.
