Since the November election, leftard policy discussions are pretty much their old America Last prescriptions. "Nothing can be done" doesn't seem to resonate with a public that has watched the border being mostly secured in weeks and if you pay attention the revelation of dem corruption and the grift of dem dominated NGOs promoting government waste and fraud with no Executive oversight. "The Trump isn't doing it right" whining is not effective when the dems don't tell us how we should be doing it right and during barry's and the dementia patients 12 years they had zero interest in doing it right but promoted open borders and government waste. Clearly a case of the need for better messaging. "Burn a Tesla" is just a necessary start.

The struggle now is not really between liberal and conservatives, but more like people that are rational and can read the news and people that are duped by a populist leader who is intent on installing himself as autocrat (and succeeding due to this problem). The graphic shows an inverse relation between educational level and support for the GOP. Lighter color indicates less education. The darker colored states did not vote Trump (in general).
About 1/3 of Americans are not smart enough in literacy terms to be able to read the news and make judgments about current affairs.
That said, the Democrats failed to connect with the working person, being too lax on the border and all the bullshit with pronouns. It might too late to make a comeback, but the route is to become a sane party that appeals to the working man.

Name a dem politician who is currently exposing closed borders, criminals in jail, boys out of girl sports and bathrooms, expanded oil and gas production, government efficiency and actually teaching kids to read, write and do some arithmetic. Don't hurt yourself. Keep believing a few weasel words is the only reform that needs to be made to make the "new" messaging a winner.
