Sprinkle now has 5 players 6'10" or taller. Peterson, Zoom, Yates and Madaquitt that can all handle the ball well. Three legit 3point shooters and two big time rim protectors in Kepnang and Traore. It's the most complete roster in terms of depth, size, experience and versatility that has played in Hec Ed maybe ever. There has been tall teams and there has been teams with dynamic scorers but not a mix like this. This team makes the tournament next year or Sprinkle can GTFO.

I'm not too surprised Yates is coming back. Last year the few ex players I stalk (not as much as Race or Baze), all seemed to indicate that Yates really liked it at UW. The movement of Quincy obviously a huge factor.
I'm intrigued by the German. Looking at his tape, he looks like he might have grown a couple inches over the last year. Looked to be a bit more fluid as well.

Gotta give it up to Sprinkle and our bball whale. Last season eas awful but the team has been completely torn down and rebuilt this offseason. If he actually can coach, this team will be good

As bad as this season was it felt wrong to bail on him so quickly when he hated his players more than I did.
Sure, he picked them and doesn't really deserve another mulligan. Still think he can be the guy.

Point taken but Sprinkle had a history of going to the tournament before he got here. Mike Woodson had a history of being a shitty NBA coach before he got to Indiana. I think they’ll make the tournament next year. I’m still bullish on this guy as a coach.
