In 2000 Bush I (Globalist) let the chicoms into the World Trade Organization with the promise of "free" trade as defined by the commies (what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine) and unleashed the chicom monster of intellectual property theft, tariff and non-tariff trade barriers, environmental devastation in China and cheap labor on the US working class all for the promise that cheap goods were good for the private sector middle class. The result was wages declining faster than the price of goods for that middle class. The dems since forever have promoted increased property taxes, sales taxes, gas taxes, carbon taxes, open borders, limits on US energy production and expensive EVs. Now they act all butt hurt about stock markets and tariffs hurting the US consumer.

Nevermind negotiating with the EU as a block which is really basically Germany and France with extra steps. Peel them off one by one.
Get deals done with UK, Italy, and a few low leverage countries like Ireland, Romania, Hungary and it's dominoes from there.
Divide and conquer.

Chicom stocks not doing well today.

I love the idea of just ignoring the EU as a construct, casts them into irrelevance.
EU might go to war internally if that happens. France will be beyond pissed is Italy does their own deal.Popcorn.gif

Sometimes leftards accidentally tell the truth. Functional difference between Robert Reich and soccer duck?

Ursula wants to go 0% for 0% on industrial goods. Why not the same for consumer products???

The EU has been living on grift and borrowed time for a decade or more.
It was sold as a free trade block and instead has become a bureaucracy block.
Time to put the knife in.

EU companies commit tariff fraud all the time when it suits them. I’ve seen it.
