Seen this before but it’s still a cool story.
I had also heard that after this she suffered a miscarriage. This article confirms it. Probably more of a TITTT comment but the meaning behind the lyrics is similar to today’s times.

I am continually fascinated by the music that came out of the late 60’s, not so much the protest aspect, but the observation of events at the time. So much of what was written then was, after decades to reflect, pretty accurate, and it applies today. History repeats. It is a great song, the GOAT IMO…
