I remember my dad told me about the run of UW QBs getting drafted and being good in the NFL starting with Moon and up through eventually Pickett. I didn't know we had this record up until this year.

We were supposed in the game for him after he decommitted from Florida I think, but I think that may have been a con to try and get us to take his brother who was a safety coming out of JC.

If Demond breaks out and is a top 1-2 QB in the B1G then we would have a nice streak of 2 years of Penix and 2-3 years of Demond in 5-6 season period. There's a ton of schools that would kill to have that.

He flipped from Florida because they wouldn't pay him, not sure you make much at Pac 12 Arizona State, and then Georgia complains about NIL as much as anyone and he obviously didn't even play.
